House Sitting Plus Service

South Florida’s population is distinctly seasonal, so it's important to distinguish between house sitting, generally a temporary live in occupant or a periodic visitor for a specified time, from caretaking, where the property owner is looking for either a longer-term live in arrangement and/or one that provides more comprehensive custodial & maintenance responsibilities.  Uniquely, at Home Management Resources we provide house sitting plus caretaking services without the live-in occupant commitment.

Many property owners leave Florida during the warmer months of each year, and our monitors visit these unoccupied homes once a week on a regularly scheduled basis.  In season, our northern visitors often travel to their Florida homes for only a portion of each month; we visit these homes as well during any period of their absence.  Should any problem arise, prompt notification is given to the client, and immediate action is taken to remedy the situation.  

Inspections are conducted in unmarked cars, and we send a clear message to would-be intruders by giving our client’s home a "lived in" appearance, by bringing in your mail, newspapers and, if you wish, randomly changing the lighting.  Our service reduces the risk of undetected broken pipes, flooding, storm damage or other mishaps which become costly if left unattended.

We believe a client’s home is a very special place, and our customers deserving of all its’ amenities and comforts.  If it is damaged while unattended, pleasure time in Florida may well be occupied with restoration efforts and concerns about the integrity of the property.  Serious damages or even minor common nuisances can be avoided with proper attention, care and prudent planning.
